According to her and she’s said the same since she was 9
“Fillet rare please Dad”
Cooked to 48c internal temperature then rested.
Apparently it’s my fault according to the ex

You see, this is me, I like a well done steak but when I go out for meals with friends I get castigated for ordering well done.
The other thing that REALLY fucks me off is when the kitchen people send it out , medium at best , then when I ask for it to be sent back they say, the chef doesn’t do them any more well done than this, fucking boils my piss, WHY DID YOU ASK ME HOW I LIKE IT DONE IF YOU’RE GOING TO IGNORE MY WISHES.

I have on one occasion refused to pay the bill as it was not what I ordered, you’d be surprised how fast the chef changed his mind |

I just gave the full recipe and method out in the cooking thread earlier, but I like mine reverse seared, basted in butter with garlic and rosemary, and served with roast potatoes and dijon mustard on the side. |
