Last night's episode was just the last straw for me. I can take a bit of poetic licence but the whole thing was just ridiculous!

That (I know it's possible), the wedding fiasco, the convenient purchase of the convent building, the easy setting up of the trainee midwife scheme...I could go on

You'd only grow bored of my meanderings.

I should have stopped watching once they'd finished dramatising the original book.

I have to say, for just a brief moment, I thought the OP was about 'to drop' or experiencing the Braxton Hicks contractions...

What really frustrates me is that the likelihood of you producing twins next week is higher than our long-anticipated interlude at Claridges!

You have strung me along for far too long, Marchioness.

Somewhere In The Ether…

I must confess to rather having a soft spot for it

It’s admittedly as sappy as all hell (‘Oooo Patrick!’) but is pleasant and gentle Sunday evening viewing.

If they ever kill off Sister Monica Joan though, I’m out!

(Can I also proclaim my undying lust for Nancy here too?)

I watched the last two series because I had a soft spot for it too and it was my mum's favourite but I think even she would have had enough after last night. I suspect Nancy gets more can mail than Nurse Crane . I admit I thought sister Monica Joan was a gonner last week.

Would now be a good time to say that I look forward to a gentle, non demanding hour of Death in Paradise too.
