"I've seen hundreds of them but it's strange how they only show theirselves on 31st October each year. "
Oh yes, do they knock on your door too?!
I always thought they could glide through walls but obviously not. |

Never seen one but do believe in them of some sort, every now and then our indoor camera goes off and when watching it there is always 1 glowing little orb goes past, I like to think its one of our past parents checking in on us. |

I have seen what people would probably describe as a ghost quite a few times. I'm not making any claims as to explanations and I do know that what I've seen was not my mind playing tricks, me not remembering events etc. Until I have an explanation it all remains 'unexplained ' |

I think so. I’ve seen a couple or felt the presence of two previous cats before, seen shadows in the house, and had things turn up in places they weren’t before |

"I don't believe in them, but that's only because I've not seen one.
If there are ghosts, you'd expect to see them all the time?
How do you know you're not?"
There's not really anything I've noticed or encountered that I can't explain. |

I'd say no, but as a little 4 year old me, I used to wake my mum to tell her I'd be chatting to great nan and give her full conversations we'd had like how she wish she'd seen the other one born (my brother) she died 2 days after he was born when I was 2.
I don't remember any of it but my mother likes to tell me all the time how much it freaked her out.
Maybe it was real, maybe I had a crazy vivid imagination as a little one? Who knows.

I do believe I seen an apparition many years ago, shortly after my grandfather died..
Also, not a ghost, but a few months back a colleague approached me asking if a there was a woman from my life that had recently died as she'd visited a medium and was told a person with my name had with them a lady who'd passed recently, I then only last week come to find that an ex passed away a few months before the colleagues visit to the medium, so I do believe the possibility of there being spirits among us. |

Kids are more open to being able to medium, you can grow out of it.
My friends niece had the gift when she was wee, she’d see old people on bus seats that were empty as seen by adults. When she was 12 they moved house, she started not wanting to go to bed as she would see a man standing at the end of her bed while she got changed for bed. Even if she got changed elsewhere he’d still be standing at the end of the bed. Her mum eventually had the house blessed. |

Seen and experienced many things that my rational mind has tried it’s very best to explain or debunk but left with no other answer than it being supernatural - and I’ve not always been alone in these experiences. |

Depends on your definition of ghost.
Depends on your definition of real.
.
My science brain would say we only see what we can sense and human brains have a terrible sense of the irrational.
.
Never hear of neanderthal apparitions now do we |

Not that I have any particular religious or even supernatural beliefs, not sure what my belief in it is to be honest, only that I have an interest and the things I have seen or experienced have no rational or logical explanation that can only lead me to believing it to be supernatural.
But given your comment - a popular opinion about ghosts is that they exist because they had/have a strong emotional or physical attachment to someone/something - and that maybe Neanderthals had a different emotional state or understanding or even that anything they may have had an attachment to is long gone now so they’ve ceased to exist In whatever supernatural state they may have been in? |

The human mind is incredible and creates everything that we experience, even when the reality differs from it. Altered status of mind are just another facet of our experience and include us being able to dream, have hallucinations and misinterpret external sensations, based on our beliefs, superstitious, etc
Occams razor would likely indicate a different conclusion from that which many jump to |

"Never ever seen one. Though when Mum died, something odd happened that made me believe that a spirit hangs around for a little while." Happened with my best friend too! Said he would gave me a sign when he was battling cancer for over 2 years. Spirits are real |

Nope.
Unfortunately if the human brain cannot explain something rationally, it can have a habit of attributing the irrational. This is because the brain likes answers, no matter how illogical or unproven. The brain does not like living "in limbo", so as long as something fills the gap, the brain is happy. It's how superstition arose in the age before science and reason.
And scientists are not immune either.
Einstein described Quantum Entanglement as "Spooky action at a distance". I mean, seriously Einstein ? You of all people should have known better. |

"What about aliens
Or alien ghosts "
If you look at it logically then there has to be some form of alien life out there, as there are 100 million galaxies out there with billions of other planets. So therefore, there must be some form of other life forms out there with it be a micro organism or intelligent species. |

Never believed in them myself until a story I heard off someone I know has kind of changed my mind. And that’s from someone who was told they saw a figure dressed in a certain way by someone who stayed at his place and she described the person who lived there a lot of years ago. down to a tee. He’s one who doesn’t believe in things like that either. But the description turned him very pale and silenced him so kind of believe a bit more now. |

Also heard from someone else in the family who claims to have seen someone who lived at the old cottage years before she did. Very similar to the other one someone knew who it was she saw when she told them. |

No I don't believe in ghosts. However..
A lady once called me to check her home because she could hear something. I thought it must be nonsense and I went in and I couldn't hear anything. When I was walking back I heard BANG! BANG! BANG!
I later heard a man murdered his wife in there. |

When I was in a coma(Ricky) I experienced astral projection and I'd never been to or seen this place. When I was discharged I saw a photo of this place and it was exactly as it was in my projection. There's more out there than we know. |
