Sadly, yes. All over the world by some very ill informed and ignorant people with no conscience or moral compass.

Probably more so in developed countries which speaks volumes.

I’m not sure it will ever be eradicated but we can live in hope and challenge it when we see/hear it.

Sadly yes it does tbh I don’t think it has ever really gone away.I will say that there is more advice and help in how to deal with it now than what there was 30-40 years ago when I was a young man trying to make my way in life.

Of course it does. Society in a lot of industries is working hard on it in terms of work equality but there's still many factors which undoubtedly cater to the 'white middle class' the most.

And then there's still absolute c*NTS (usually found in rural areas) who use words that are not ok even though 'they have no problem'.

I agree they aren't...at least, not always.

But as well as presentation, they can (sometimes) also be based/grounded in racism, but I vowed to myself to stay off racism threads, so I'd better go!

Having a preference that you don’t want to fuck someone who is black or white is no different than saying you don’t want to fuck another man or woman. It’s a preference. Saying you don’t want to stand next to someone who is blsvk isn’t racist. Saying you don’t want to stand next to someone who is black BECAUSE they are black is racist.

? I wrote that not choosing to stand next to someone who is blsvk or gay or whatever isn’t racist or phobic unless that characteristic is the reason. I might not want to stand next to someone who looks d*unk. If he is black thst foednt make me racist it means I don’t want to stand next to someone who is d*unk. Someone doesn’t want to stand next to me because I am gay is phobic. Choosing not to because they don’t like my perfume isn’t.

isms of all styles still exist. Wherever there are people there will be divisions based on race, skin colour, weight, sexual preference, and whatever else people can find to distinguish and separate themselves from their fellows. I can’t see that this will ever go away, to be honest. Politicians make huge social capital by othering. I’m guilty of it too and in ways that I am probably too blind to see most of the time.

Its existed since the dawn of time, it will never end.

Interesting fact by Don Warrington a famous black British actor. He said he preferred the 60s 70s in the Uk where people were openly racist. Because now he can sit in a room full of people and he doesn’t know who the racist people are anymore.

I think it is far more widespread than people wish to admit.

People have just adapted their behaviour to give the outward impression that they are not racist whilst not changing their underlying beliefs and attitudes.

They have just learnt to play it smart.

I have seen discriminatory behaviour all over the world by pretty much every race. In my experience it is universal and the level of your countries GDP doesn’t seem to make much difference. What does change in every country is who the locals are discriminatory towards.
