"Welcome to the Monkey house
"
I pretty much knew you were from The Midlands before i even looked- not sure Animal Magnet ever made it across the border to the rest of the country
In the same vein- Kiss Me by Steven 'Tin Tin' Duffy (Founder and original vocalist with Duran Duran), seemed to fly under the radar.
Few other post here have reminded me of some other fine tunes from the 80's, including
Transvision Vamp- Baby I don't care & I want your love
The Primatives- Crash
NIN- head like a Hole (OK, technically 90's as released early 1990...but was written in the 80's )
PWEI- Beaver Patrol & Def Con One
Neds Atomic Dustbin- Kill Your Television (yeah- 90's release again, but i saw it live in 89)
S-Express- Superfly Guy
Malcolm Maclaren- Buffalo Gals (widely credited as the catalyst to introducing hip-hop to the rest of the world)
Marrs- Pump up the volume
Man2 Man meets man Parish- Male Stripper (That synth hook! - techno before the rave scene arrived!)
