I have the Mario theme stuck in my head for some reason, it’s been pretty consistent since getting up this morning…

What song is stuck in your head today?

I saw a video this morning of Corey Taylor from Slipknot doing his unmasked solo acoustic gig - he sang SpongeBob SquarePants and I’ve not been able to shake it off all day!

Something you hear that you can’t stop thinking about is called an ear worm

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

Automatic by Miranda Lambert, which I find a weirdly emotional song for some reason I can’t ever explain.

If it's stuck on top of your head it's an ear wig

Read this and its triggered Taylor swift shake it off. But I also have you can ring my bell so it's switching between the two. That will be until I am triggered by something else. I usually have multiple songs a day

As we look after our three year old grandson most days it’s normally a CBeebies theme tune but lately due to that damn car advert it’s “ We’ve sold our Car to we buy any car”

Ear Worm is your brain glitching because it cant complete the song youre youre thinking of.

Listen to the full song to cure the earworm. If it's realy persistent then sing along to guarantee results. Sometimes it's enough to just just play the last verse, but full song is definitely better.
