Been thinking, maybe if it’s better to get the shop closed or to keep it open for possibilities?
I don’t think having kids at 42-43 is a good idea…
Question, the ones who have had it down, how does it affect you?
Women, do you notice any difference?
Does the man still cum? Does it change the consistency of the ejaculate? Taste colour?
anyway… thanks for sharing your opinion and experience |

Short term, it was sore.
Long term - it’s back to normal. *about ten year ago. |

Had it done about 4 year ago, sore for a day or 4, back to normal in no time and you get prescribed a wank to 'clear the tubes' |

Hi OP, you’re in a similar situation to where I was - When I got to 40 I knew that fatherhood had passed me by so I got the snip. My doctor was reluctant to refer me but I was in a relationship with someone who had kids so that swung the balance.
From initial consultation to my procedure was about 3 months. It was uncomfortable for a couple of days but nothing major. As for any difference there is non whatsoever. I’ve never had a single regret but make sure you’re certain it’s for you before you commit. |

There's a lot of these threads going around right now, handy for me though as I've got one planned in a bit. So thanks from me as well for the insight.
Surprisingly, I didn't have any difficulty getting referred. Just told my GP neither of us wanted kids, and that I didn't even before the relationship.

Had it done privately.
Dr. said "you can bring a CD of music if you like to listen and relax to".
I did quite a playlist, thinking I'd be in there for 30 mins or so.
In and out in 15. Painless. Sore for a few days. Told to wear supportive smalls.
Playlist was
Echo & The Bunnymen : The Cutter
Bryan Adams - Cuts Like A Knife
Month Python - Every Sperm Is Sacred
few others I forget
Doc was trying to suppress giggling on the Python track and that's when he finished. |
