I have £2 worth, which an uncle bought for me.
I won £25 worth in 1969, which I was allowed to buy a toy with (talking Action Man obviously) and mum kept the rest to buy clothes for me , which I remember feeling was very unfair at the time
Not a sausage since though.

About 30 years ago I read that if you had a few grands worth there were good odds that you'd have a few wins each year abd that they may be small but the percentage return was better than savings accounts were offering. So I did buy some and got several years I regularly got £25 wins. But odds must have changed with new investors joining as I've realised that I've not won anything for a few years now. |

NS&I will deny this, and claim Ernie (the computer selector) will pick any number from all those available. However many believe that people with bonds, that have never been touched for years, kind of get 'forgotten about'.
I do believe that the 'luck' isn't necessarily how many you have, but rather how active you are.
I often pay in £100 worth. Sometimes I will cash in £500 and pay it back in the next month. I do believe it helps. Even though NS&I will strongly dispute this.
So, those posting that have never won, try it |
