Fairy lights we have hung up that emits soft lighting. I do quite like the dark too, especially when you wake up in the middle of the night in a hotel 
I can do lights too. I'm not a fussy one  |

The pink or purple lighting that I have in almost all my photos 
I want to see the person I'm enjoying, but if the lighting masks a few aesthetic flaws so I feel less self conscious I'm even happier. |

I fucking hate big lights. I am more than happy to have sex during daylight, but there's nothing worse than a harsh light. I like to put lamps on, fairy lights and candles. And that's not only for when it comes to sex, but more so in my general life day to day. I love a bit of ambience. |

Actually, that’s a great point; After sex my eyes tend to become extremely sensitive to bright lights so I prefer soft light or daylight (not direct sunlight though).
It’s ostensibly a fairly common phenomenon. |

Red light to help the melatonin production so they roll over and fall asleep quicker!
Dim lights when it's dark but in all honesty I don't really think about the lighting when it's all about to get going.

Always lights on - I like to see what's going on!
Of course the darker it is the better I look, so it's a balance between my enjoyment and my partner's. Thankfully I only really care about my enjoyment, hence always lights on. |

Warm lighting so that I can see interaction with other(s). Seeing reaction through the window of their eyes in heat of the moment. Can be electric with right person, which makes it a very pleasurable sexual experience which can't be done in pitch darkness.  |

Agree to disagree with regards to the intensity. Some peeps simply prefer in dark because they're not as comfortable under bright lights, and feel less self-conscious in the dark.
Sexual intensity is far greater under mood lighting and promotes body positivity which leads to having a far better sexual experience. The look into each other’s eyes and breathing together, helps make you feel calmer, fully focused and more in touch with one another before getting physical. |
