Kansas is a US state made famous by being home to Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz which is in fact a fictional story.
A man was out hunting and his dog and guns were in the back of his truck. It is guessed that the dog accidently stepped on the trigger and the hunter was shot dead in the back as he drove along. Reports say that the dog was unhurt although he has lost his master. Has anyone on fab been accidently hurt by their own dogs or pets?
This is all over the news. |

My daughters guinea pig stabbed her 3 times with a kitchen knife
Thankfully it was none life threatening
But for obvious reasons the guinea pig had to go |

"Yes, my heart broke when my dog died.
So did mine, I've not been able to get another one since "
I've had another one for nearly 16 years now but it was hard when previous dog passed. Took me ages to want another one. |

Sounds like a Darwin Award entry.
Nothing particular here.
But did read in the DA book of some guys going ice fishing, so lights the dynamite and throws it.
Only for the dog to run and retrieve it before it went off and it going off when he returned
There was also a hunter that found a snake, he out the butt of his gun in it's head as he called his mate, the snakes tail curled up and pulled the trigger shooting his head off |

"Not me but the husband of someone I know, was killed when his dog knocked a lever, engaging a piece of machinery, he was drawn into the machine head first. "
Helpful you clarified it wasn't you who died being drawn into a machine headfirst |

This sounds like the intro to one of the stories in the fantasy section.

Me neither. Everyone told me to just get another one but I know it wouldn't be the same. |

Mutley jumped up to greet me. Unfortunately I had left a small pistol in my pocket which went off and blasted my bollocks to bits |

Well, as I was posting on a FAB forum, I thought it best to clarify |

There are lots of reports on this but still can't find the dog's name although the poor gentleman shot was Joe Smith. A plumber, musician and much loved man by everybody and a real comic character. God Bless him. Tom does not know what happened to the dog bu there are different rules in America so he may have been killed by lethal injection to prevent this happening again |

His friends describe him as "a loving goofball".
Not what I'd want on my tombstone"
Although it's possibly better than 'he loved hunting but his weapon handling left a bit to be desired '.. |

The story seems a bit fishy. The man was in the passenger seat in someone else's vehicle.
It could have been the the other guy who did this, made up the story up, and rigged the crime scene. |

Just as well Dan. Once a guinea pig kills they can't be trusted. Try to limit t.v. viewing in future |
