The steering wheel in time to the music.? One finger? All fingers? One hand? Both hands? Its for research purposes only. Sydney University or something.

I interlace the fingers of both hands on top of the steering wheel when I'm tapping

Yes I do! Both hands banging the steering wheel like a drum! In the summer my arm goes out the window and I'm playing the beats on the roof or car door whilst singing at the top of my voice! I'm in my own private club in my car!

Yep.

It's when you arrive at your destination but a decent tune is still playing, so you stay in the warmth of the car and enjoy it before exiting

by the seaside

I tend to tap the steering wheel in time to the bass line rather than the drums. Particularly if I'm listening to Queens of the Stone Age.

I’ve got a full air drum kit in the car for such purposes.

Is it one of those over-sized steering wheels? Or did you mean an actual wheel?

I don't but because I listen to classic fm I go full conductor mode.

We had a name for it in our family that I can't mention on here. The music was a little boring at times.
