What's made you smile recently?
Tonight (technically last night) I have been to the theatre with my mom. We saw Dick Whittington and shared lots of laughs.
It was great to see her laugh as she's had a tough time lately.
Dick, is my reason to be cheerful!

Tonight I've had fun with hot wax. The cleanup was an operation and a half but at least I have nice fresh sheets to sleep in.
Tomorrow I'm on a normal people date with my favourite human. It'll be good to be outside and doing functional adult things.
One if my favourite colleagues is leaving in the next few weeks, but she's promised to stay in touch and offered her skills on the side gig so that's reason enough to smile today. |

I have never played with hot wax. I'd probably give it a go but clean up doesn't sound much fun!

I'm feeling very cheerful recently. Irritatingly going through the whole kaleidoscope of emotions but keep returning to joy. Unadulterated joy.
Why am I?
I've realised I've found a true friendship in someone. Unwavering, constant. Consistent (well as consistent as I can be, we both go through intense messaging/talking and then a few days quiet). It gives me such warmth.
I had one of the most incredibly erotic experiences. I was about to quantify it with a time frame but not needed. It was so delightfully... sensual. Yep, going with that. And they very clearly have similar thoughts on it. Some people have this art of effortlessly making you feel like you matter as a woman and as a sexual being.
So yeah, I'm feeling quite good about being me. Don't get me wrong, there are a few little niggles I'm trying to straighten out. But life is joyful and so am I currently.

I may be mistaken,but it feels like Spring is creeping in.
A few minutes more light in the mornings, signs of daffodils and birdsong is more apparent early in the morning. Feels uplifting.  |

It took me many many years to get to this point.
Now... If I can't control it? If I can't affect it? If it's not my responsibility? If it's not reasonable?
