Be positive - ditch the NEWS FEED!!!
Jump to: Newest in thread
January is shit for most.
So how can you be more positive in January and in life in general.
Studies show that negativity breeds negativity as it is addictive.
The News feeds are designed to be negative so human want to listen and read more. News feeds get paid through advertisement. More people watching my advertising more money!!
Studies also show that if you surround yourself with positivity and reduce negative input, your outlook on life and general wellbeing will improve..
So as a challenge to the FAB forumites. Ditch the News Feeds for a month and see how much beter you feel.
And if you skeptable just think of it this way. There is always a war, a corupt government, a murder, human abuse, gun crime.
Look at the news once at the start of the challenge then again 1 month later. I'll bet you the news is still the same....

I've stopped watching the news for over 3 years now and much happier in myself because of it.
grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference |

I've never had a news feed but at the same time I've never lived my life with an instruction manual or by following studies that have as much of an agenda as the news feeds.
I don't read self help books either because I understand what irony means.
I prefer a little negativity and don't trust permanently positive people. |

I stopped watching or reading the news years ago, never had any social media apart from fab if you call it that.
You can’t avoid it all completely but so far it’s been one of my better life choices.

Loving the feeback...
And it is incredibly difficult to remove, what with TV, radio, social media and print all spouting the same stuff everyday.
Even if you remove 80% of it you will still feel better for it.
And to those that still want to watch all the news that is fine also.
I would say though, as others have intimated already. You can't change things you have no control over, so should not invest time in those things. 95% of things people worry about are unfounded.
All that lost time on needless things and worries could be spent on yourself and those close to you.
Just food for thought.
But glad I am not the only one on the positive train! |
