I haven't won the lottery but I have invested in a jar. What do you use it for? I'm having a small amount in my hot drink in the morning and put a little on a patch of dry skin on my hand.
How long will I need to wait until I see a miraculous change in my health and look twenty years younger? |

Wound healing with animals. It's a natural antibiotic and great for helping with open wounds, speeding up the healing process and reducing vet bills.

OP, Mr had it recommended as he's been quite unwell recently.. Honestly noticed no real difference.. Although, noted you were adding to a hot drink, he was advised not to as apparently eradicates a lot of the benefits.. |

"No idea, my father keeps making me buy it to send to his friend, apparently it’s amazing and has all these benefits but when I asked him what they are he couldn’t say "
This is what interests me. I googled after I'd bought it obviously, no point spending a load of money if you're well informed about the product. Basically it has antibacterial properties and possibly aids digestion. Using it in home made beauty products is suggested but I dread to think how difficult it would be to scrape honey off your face |

I have put some on a small sore, dry patch of skin on my hand. I'm an animal but the vet won't see me after the biting incident... |

It's really good for burns too - any open wounds.
The higher the UMF number the better the antibacterial and healing properties, but also the higher the price. Aim for 25+ for best results. Anything lower will essential do either nothing or very little.

Too late I've got Manuka now. I just finished my local raw honey actually. I did prefer the flavour |

I'm just starting to use sea moss jelly as an additive to my herbal tea, you can't taste it but I think it has 92 nutrients in it. It's also good for hair and face.
I hadn't heard of it until a few weeks ago. |

Isn’t it just normal honey in NZ ? Other than healing wounds I don’t think any of other other claimed benefits are backed up.
I wouldn’t bother - A&E is probably best for major wounds and a plaster for small ones but I’m keen to know your experiences using it |

I suspect it's probably smoke and mirrors but I'll give it a go |

"I can no longer eat it on my low fodmap diet, but I used to get the little sample jars from Morrisons and have it on toast once a week.
I'm still old and ugly
So far so am I. "
Maybe we were supposed to bathe in it? |

I suspect we're supposed to smear it on the lens of our glasses so we just can't see what we look like |

It’s really good for eczema and psoriasis if you are having a flare up….
I buy the cheap honey and put a teaspoon into a glass of milk for when I have a really sore throat |

I took raw honey by the spoonful when I had covid and my throat felt as if I'd swallowed broken glass, it also helped with the cough. If I have it in milk I warm it slightly and see brandy. |

It's gorgeous mixed with Greek yogurt too
And mixed with fresh lemon juice for those sniffly moments.."
Lemon juice and I do not get along. I mix honey with warm milk and brandy if I'm a little under the weather |

Is a nice honey but Dabur honey is even better and even better than that is raw honey because it has the highest amount of pollen and nutritional compounds, which means that it is the most beneficial choice for ones health. |

"There's a lot of snakeoil, around Manuka honey. That's not to knock any benefits, merely that it became an easy to target abuse at. "
Yes I can see that.
I will say that since I put some on my hand this morning the sore spot has eased. I can't say if the raw local honey would have had the same effect because I haven't tried it |
