Lay a foot towel down on the bath mat, squeeze my hair before I get out and then start drying straight away, definitely the worst bit of the process drying

Exactly this !!
This was my pet hate when there was a man once upon a time in the house , soak the bathroom mat and the floor and almost shake like a dog !

i drip dry in the shower a bit first then I get out the shower and dry myself |

If shower quick shake then grab my stuff and walk to the lounge get dry there warmest part of the house if bath straight out soak everything get dry changed then walk down stairs. |
