This site needs remamimg to club&couples.com... the amount of fakes or time wasters or folk that chat n text for weeks but never meet this isnt a dating or chat site u want attention when ur bored go one the other siteslike tinder and twitter .
Not to mention the blank accounts that some how pass security anf the onky fans promoters
Covid destroyed this site with it being flooded by people
Is there any other active sites |

No, fab shouldn't close.
There are a lot of people who do meet, they're just maybe not quite the people you want to meet, or people who want to meet you, for whatever reason.
I think being locked down gave a lot of people a different outlook on how they interact socially, be that online or in person, and perhaps random hookups without knowing the person you're getting sexy with is less appealing to some now. I don't know, just a thought.

And why do you think any other site would be any different?
Personally i think its one of the best. Others ive been on are far worse.
And, from what ive seen on here, loads of members have been on here for years, and still enjoy it.
Its obvious lots of people have successful meets too.
And most seem to be able to spot fake/spam profiles.
If its that bad, have a Google search for other sites and happy hunting. |

I don’t think this thread will last long before it’s deleted but hey…
I agree Fab did get inundated with fakes and time wasters during the dark days of Covid. People were bored at home isolating and I do think that explains one of your points. We have found it increasingly difficult to meet genuine people and have considered leaving too. But we haven’t because it’s the best site out there for swinging.
But as for Fab closing, hell no. It’s just a case of you staying positive, filtering through the above weirdos while the website and admin team play their own part to curtail the problems you cite.
Final point is that if it bothers you so much, leave. Job done. |

The site is whatever anyone who joins it wants it to be as long as it is within the rules.Just because you are having no luck does not mean it is like that for everyone else on here.
As for fakes,yes there are fake accounts but most are easy to spot and if you are being taken in by them a lot,then maybe change how you vet people you chat to.
The simple rule I follow is if it's not enjoyable anymore take a break for a while. |

Can I make a couple of suggestions?
Set your filters so that new or unverified accounts can't contact you also exclude those without public pictures. If you see an account that looks as if it isn't genuine or is promoting their premium account elsewhere, report it, admin will take a look. If you contact someone and the chat goes on longer than you'd like without a meet being arranged being the conversation to a close, sometimes it's good to arrange a quick coffee soon after messaging, it seems out the people who're a bit reluctant shall we say.
Nobody will mention other sites as its against forum rules but you good try a search engine.

I’m probably one of those time wasters you are referring to, only my profile could not be clearer so if people don’t read it that’s their problem.
I like having this space to share this side of me that I can’t on dating apps, I’m not putting these pics on tinder no one would take me seriously!

I don't think Fab should close: working just fine for me, but that could be my dick talking as I've got the hots for this guy from Penge. Agree though the interface is a bit dated, but part of its charm for me! |

It’s not a dating site.
Women and couples are in more demand than single guys, clubs will agree.
There are time wasters and fakes in lots of walks of life. Don’t forget Fab can be free or have paid membership (probably more likely to have less fakes). But it’s also about what you put into Fab, the more effort you put in is likely to help.

A lot of people do really well on here so the site works perfectly if you use it right.
If it’s not working for some then you aren’t using the tools that FAB provides you to ensure you get the best out of your FAB experience.

So, reading between the lines OP, you want the site changing so it is only for people who are in a couple or those who attend clubs.
This would wipe out a massive proportion of it's members, me included.
If you lower your expectations of the site and don't take it too seriously you would probably enjoy it an awful lot more.
I've been on here for a few years now and met some lovely people. Not had any bad meets but that is probably because I make a point of chatting and getting to know someone first which by the sound of your post is something else you wouldn't approve of.
It may not be a dating site but I like to make sure I feel safe before I meet someone, as do most women, for me that includes a little getting to know you time and more than a couple of message.
Sorry if the site is not working for you but it does for thousands of others so I can't see it changing just for you. |
