Movies.
There's been many a flick set 'in the future' when made that we've now either arrived at timewise or long surpassed.
We're watching one now.
Daybreakers. Made in 2009 and set justva decade away in 2019, so by my basic knowledge of maths we should be at least 4 years into a vampire causing virus by now.
But we're not are we.
What other predictions in the world of cinema either haven't happened, or in very rare cases I suspect, actually they got things almost right?

Real Steel (tremendous movie) was set in 2020, but do we have robot boxing as a world sport?
Pacific Rim was also set in 2020, and yet we seem to have a distinct lack of robotic war machines and Kaijus roaming the planet
