*I'm posting this on behalf of some friends. Forgive me for not having much to add to it or if I'm quiet. I'm a bit broken right now and their words are far better than anything I could attempt to say.*

It's with the saddest and most heartbroken hearts that we are the bearer of this message.
We are struggling to even find the words, but we will try.
Our amazing, loveable and beautiful soul of a friend 'Thumper' passed away last night.
He was an absolute belter (a word he used) of a man. The most honest, sincere, down to earth, funny as hell guy, who would drop anything and everything to anyone in need.
His forum posts ranged from pegging to opening his heart about his past demons and sharing them with this amazing community.
One thing you could always rely on Thumper for was honesty.
He didn't shy away from 'the unusual' - why? Because he was unusual, uniquely, outstandingly, breathtakingly, unusual.
One of the rare ones, the ones that don't come around often.
Our hearts are broken.
From an Internet stranger to 'family'.
We will miss our daily chats, our late night phone calls, the epic face times and of course your funny as fuck videos.
Oh how we fucking laughed together.
We love you Thumper
We will miss you more than our hearts can take.
We will always remember you
Our friend, our soul mate,
See you on the other side

That’s truly shocked me to the core, I’m not sure I have the words, I was only chatting to him Monday, he was such a sensitive soul, loveable, funny and liked him for being open and honest in our conversations, so very very sad, his poor family. RIP. |

Shit. I mean, shit. I’m relatively new to the forums so I didn’t know him that well, but I liked reading anything he posted and he seemed like such a good guy. Stunned.

There really aren't words to express the shock and sadness.
Thank you for posting and letting the forum know, CD. And I hope it is some comfort to you and all his friends to know that he was so well thought of and touched so many here.

We spent time with Thumper on this and his last profile..
really saddened to hear this.
Spent an amazing weekend with him last year and popped so many cherries for him.

Wow.... I am so shocked... It just shows that you never know what is happening in someone's head.
I'm glad he had his holiday and bonding time with his dad and made peace and was able to be himself.

Wow…shows how much someone can mean to people who they have never met. Also shows how much is under the surface and doesn’t get revealed.
Thumper was someone who I could read his posts and resonate with…he will be sadly missed.
Tell people who you care about that you do care about them - you never know what difference it can make.

Most people have their particular friends, understandably, and stick to mostly that group. But Thumper was just lovely to everyone, and in return everyone loved him. We joke about it, but if ever someone could have been a lifetime member of The Clique it was Thumper, and yet he was always utterly lacking in arrogance.
What a terrible reminder of how vulnerable we can be. Ask not for whom the bell tolls.

Thumper was around back in the day when I first started using fab years ago...and was also the reason the forums became an area to say Hi and mix in with others.
Oh man, you will be missed by so many in your life, thank you for your insights, humour and acceptance of all of us freaks

I’m guessing those of us who ‘knew’ him via pm are thinking like I am now. You look back at your recent messages - at his recent posts - and look for/see ‘signs’ - things you feel you should’ve picked up on - something you should have said - to make things better and make it different.

I came on this morning hoping to read there had been a mistake. It’s completely knocked me sideways, I would say I can’t believe it but more I don’t want to believe it, it’s truly saddened. Peoples posts on here show the love for him, he was a very very special guy, I shall miss him immensely as I’m sure everyone will. He will be the star shining brightest in the sky xx |

Have chatted to him briefly, didn't know him as much as others.
Prayers going out to those on here that were close to him and his family.

Im remember I him for his openness and his he even fingered plant tips he and I shared last week. I hope someone looks after his beautifully tended houseplants.
Colossal love and compassion to anyone affected by this- whether directly or as a trigger for trauma. We see you and you’re welcome.
