You know I nearly wrote a post asking for new scent ideas.
I change my scent by the season and day and night, when you look like a pink Shrek you focus elsewhere
Currently I'm Spicebomb Extreme, Paco Million by night. Hugo Men Extreme and CH VIP Men Sport by day.
I recently added Al Baadi Oud which is way way way better than Oud Wood.
I also just got given this pocket spray with Basil, Lime, Mandarin and Pepper and it smells like a night time Clinique Happy for Men, love it. |

"Tuscan Leather, Tobacco Vanille, Creed Aventus or Fucking Fabulous. "
I don't like Aventus, but have you tried the current Tobacco Vanille ? I swear they have reformulated and made the tobacco so strong the vanilla is lost, and in the dry down it's barely their either.
Is Tuscan Leather good ? I like spicy, leather, tobacco, amber, etc scents ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

I *really* like Tuscan Leather. However, it's one that I struggle to put the right amounts on. Seems to be too little or too much, for some reason.
Interestingly, Aventus is the one I get most comments on. However, my personal preference is Fabulous.
I use a copycat of tobacco vanille and the vanilla is just perfect. You've just saved me a lot of money as I was contemplating an upgrade! ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

The Vanilla note in the current formulation is totally gone IMO.
Parfum De Marly Herod is a one up, maybe a five up from TV, while your checking out Herod have a peep at Carlisle.
I think Aventus gets comments because people think it's expensive, so theres an aire of affluence to it. Just my opinion tho, I don't like it so I'm biassed.
I haven't tried fabulous so that's on my list now |

None. I really do not see the point in it.
It feels like a whole industry has falsified anxiety in humans that they smell like smelly beasts and if they drench themselves in these other chemicals they will smell nice.
Cows in a field don't need to slap on Eau Du Pasture to survive or attract a mate. Their natural pheromones do that for them.
So do ours.
It really is quite bizarre. |

People do smell nice if they use something you like the smell of, that's the point of wearing it. Do you wash your body and hair with nothing but water and smell nice after? |

I use a non-scented hair product and steer clear of products containing :
Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate or Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES)
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)
Parabens
Sodium Chloride
Formaldehyde
Alcohol
Silicones
My body wash is mostly neutral, although I think there is some parfum to it, but it's virtually unnoticeable. I'm actually looking for something odourless but it's not easy.
