The Smiths never released a duff track. Everything, including non-aqlbum B-Sides, was top shelf and of the highest order. Morrissey and Marr have since released some 'mixed' material.

So if it is 'singer' - rather than 'group' -then it has to be Stephen Patrick Morrissey while he was with The Smiths.
