Wind flowing through the trees. Birdsong. Nature alive around me.
Then usually a scrambler, twin rotor chopper, tank or apache ruins it. Oh and cannons.
Yaaaaaay.

The gale force winds and pouring rain outside my window right now are rather soothing.
I used to work a lot of night shifts in a rural area and sometimes I would just lay down somewhere in the woods, close my eyes and listen....surprisingly noisy.
If you are listening to something, close your eyes. removing visual references/stimulation accentuates the sound and you appreciate it more. Top tip, don't do this whilst driving....or flying an aeroplane....or whilst moving at all really.. |

Depends on my sensitivity to noise, but I like the birds twittering in the morning and evening times.
They're out there now, having a squabble about something.
There's one chirrup I don't recognise. I'll have to spy on them.
I have to add though; the sound of the traffic is irritating me this evening.

"Silence. It's pretty hard to come by these days. "
I’m In .
That’s me . No sounds at all .
No people no nurses no water no wind . Nothing .
That would be the most relaxing .
Impossible .
Ear plugs my best friends at the moment .

"I like to fall asleep to Gregorian Chant.
Nothing says relax like a group of tonsured geezers singing in Latin.
Dead can Dance Aion: it's worth checking out their track End of words."
Thanks for the recommendation but that sounds like the music from Eyes Wide Shut. |
