What did people think of the latest season? It moved faster, felt bit repetitive at the end, but I think it’s a good build up for the next/final season.
This show just evokes so many emotions in me. It’s like a drug fix of powerful emotions! |

I'm watching the current series weekly. I'm not sure I can handle so much in a binge watch. I can't say I'm enjoying it but I return every week.
I read The Testaments during Lockdown I. Part of me is watching to see how much the series could lead up to The Testaments.

Yeah I binged the the first 4 seasons in about a month. It was quite heavy!
Oh what's the testaments? Is that related to the handmaid’s tales books or something? |

Yes, it's Atwoods follow up, set 15 years after The Handmaid's Tale. I waited a long time for that. I read The Handmaid's Tale in 1987.

I love it so much, it's so nuanced and utterly bone-chilling. I can't help but relate it when I see things happen in the real world eg repealing Roe v Wade. They should show it in schools. |

I'm not feeling well today so ended up watched Steph's Lunch on C4.
The global sperm count is down.
Repealing Roe vs Wade, and all the Great Replacement folk make me very worried.

Understandably so, real people are so much scarier than anything fiction could come up with.
Atwood said she never put one thing into Handmaid that hadn't happened somewhere in the world, at some time. Terrifying.
Ps. On that cheery note, I hope you feel better soon |
