No1 was the rubiks cube.
OK, who could solve it, or still can.
I could never solve it, but some of the kids at school could do it in minutes "
I've got a cheapo £1 imitation. I can solve it in minutes. It's all about the "daisy pattern"...
Now...get a ZX Spectrum emulator (Speccy will do) and try "The Great Escape".
I still can't complete that fucking game! |

There’s a method to solving it I think isn’t there, like proper instructions. That’s how the “clever” kids did it, just memorised the formula.
I never did, I could get two sides done but not the rest! |

Yes, but they were probably beaten up with great regularity.

It's in the same league as Frankie Goes To Hollywood! Almost impossible to complete. |

Once you learn how to put the stickers back on so they look like they’ve not been removed, it’s easy as pie |

There are lots……I know one, but it’s long winded, so I’m no speed solver. |

Never could do it. Still can't. Didn't really try very hard as couldn't work our where to start. Would just twirl it round a few times and get bored. |

Only done it once, complete fluke.
Used to use it like a stress ball and just turn whilst watching tv. After 10/12 years, me mam yelled ‘stop’ and that was that, solved…. all for two minutes until I messed it up again.
Still have one in the house and get it out occasionally. |

This is quite funny as I found one in a vehicle at work the other day and thought it would occupy my son as he’d just had his arm broken at school.
He finished in a matter of minutes.
I have never been able to do them and still can’t |
