Unpleasant jibes at certain types of people is nasty, likely to be offensive and potentially upsetting. And avoidable, of course.
Stating your interest in selected preferences, with just that interest expressed, isn't a slur or denigrating anyone. Though some services do restrict expressions of such interest but I think Fab does well in its acceptance of it. It's up to us as users to keep things respectful to everyone.

What a load of shite. Both aren't comparable and no one says one is right and the other is wrong.
People have preferences some know how to state them without being insulting to others. Usually it's when it's stated in a way to get a reaction they then act shocked when they do get one.
If people concentrated on what they are looking for and not on what others are looking for especially when they don't fit in with it ,they may not get so upset.I look at profiles and if I don't fit the criteria of what the person wants I just move on.Its pretty simple to do. |

We all have our preferences, just some are much blunter with how they describe theirs.

Stating a preference is not wrong, how you state that preference can be wrong.
“I prefer coffee to tea or I will only drink coffee”, these are preferences, stated clearly for anyone who wants to get me a drink. They are not offensive statements.
