True story that one, about the gangster Jimmy Boyle. He later became an artist and is still around.

Dog soldiers has been mentioned a few times.

I also recommend "Howl". It was by the bloke that did a lot of the special effects for dog soldiers. A pleasant surprise of a film, if you like horror.

Secret hideaway in the pennines
