Would you say people who wear pygamas in public have given up on life
Jump to: Newest in thread
It seems to be a regular sight in my local Asda.
More power to them I suppose. I wouldn’t do it personally though.
Mind you, I don’t own any pyjamas and walking around Asda in just my boxers would likely not go down too well with security… |

I once saw a lady come out of a shop in only her dressing gown… it became clear that was all she had on when she leant into the boot of her car! …. I say a “lady” but …lol |

Me and my daughter have worn house slobs - grey joggers and old baggy north face t shirts - in Asda, very late at night, in the next town where we are unlikely to see anyone we know. This is the closest we have to pyjamas. Feels alright,,we kinda fit in |

It can be quite hard to depict is they pjs or not
I seen yesterday a satin set
That was a top and bottom set that could dubble as pjs but we’re marketed as casual lounge ware |

I don’t think it means they’ve given up on life but I do think it’s a lazy thing to do and it shows a lack of pride in your appearance and low standards.
I don’t think people should be served in shops etc wearing their pyjamas. The same goes for topless men
These are my personal views and nobody was hurt in the expressing of them |

"Or just plain lazy!" I have been in mine all day... as came off my nightshift. Had a shower.. got into my pj's.. but then could only have 2 hours sleep before I needed to be a functioning human again... sooooo I've taken my daughter to her groups in my pj's... I've been shopping and even had a cuppa in a cafe... to be fair. Not sure anyone would realise they are pj's.
I will however have a shower and change into other pj's before going to sleep. Not all that do this are lazy.
.
I've worked nights for years and often am out and about in my pj's in the day |

It's inconsequential.
Someone wears their P.J's in bed for 6 hours and then goes shopping.
Someone wears trousers and a shirt for 10 hours travelling and at work and that's okay?
It can't be any less moral to be shopping in your p.j.s .......
There are probably heinous things that people do.
I don't go out in my p.j's but that's because of conditioning about what can be worn in public and what can't and all of my p.j's are fit for the bin ....
I don't think it's worth condemning people on ......
I'd like a really valid reason why it's immoral, disgusing , unhygenic etc ...other than the pejoratives that are spewed out . |

Thing is.. By that reason I g anyone can wear anything (or nothing) to do anything... Fine. I think society functions better with rules. I am not a fan of lack of social mores. |

We do have rules.
Don't offend public decency.
Pyjamas do not offend the public decency.
Tasteless material and lace hardly leaves a trail of post traumatic stress in it's wake. |

During the summer I was called upon by my daughter to do the morning school run. It was an eye opener to see some of the attire the mums were wearing.
See a few in pyjamas in
the local convenience store but it does not bother me. |

That's one rule. That you've selected as it suits you. Fine.
No it doesn't leave post traumatic stress. Nor does Jay walking... Nor littering..
Nor basic hand hygiene... Nor turning up on time... Nor picking your nose... Just makes our communal society and resources a little more pleasant. |

Id say the just don't give a #%€* as to what others think & good on them
I look like a tramp most of the time as since I had an accident last year abd lost most of the use of one of my arms I struggle to dress myself unless it's in super baggy oversized clothes that I wouldn't previously have worn
It's a pretty shallow world if we judge people based on what they are wearing |
