See after reading a bit its yet more evidence that since face book and social media were created triel by public opinion and media has more power than the courts minus the facts id rather no sentencing or trial details of anyone were made public anymore be it for the rich or poor

They will have some idea of how close they were to guilty verdicts…
Remember that 1 of the jury was dismissed for being ill… they couldn’t come up with any 11-0 verdict, so the judge said they would accept 10-1 and they still couldn’t!
If the cps as they are allowed to asked roughly what the numbers were, and they got back an answer of 9-2 they would have another shot… if it was truly split down the middle they wouldn’t retrial it |

Of course. And the jury can make whatever conclusions from that evidence. Yes the cps took it to trial and it has happened in the glare of social media. One might question how likely it will be to find a jury that has not seen and been prejudiced by all of the op Ed crap that's been put out there.
As an example the fact he's a shag bandit is not to everyone's taste. But bears no relevance to any assault he may or may not have committed. I think it's another example of how our judicial system has motivations beyond meting out justice. |

I have to agree when I read the new trial date is nearly a year away I was dismayed. Reality is though lots of people are waiting more than 2 years for Justice and it's an absolute scandal. |

I think I’d be a bit cagey about handing over my phone to folk. I mean they’d see all the nudes, the sexting, the Fab account and all that, going back YEARS surely? Even if you delete them, their IT teams can find them?
Maybe she has sent a few nude pics in the past and is inwardly cringing at them being accessed.
I mean I’m cringing now at the thought, and nobody has asked to see my phone! So I can understand the reticence there.
I think the sooner it is sorted out (for both of them) the better. They can move on. At the moment they are just in limbo. And it must be costing a fortune too?

So question. Is behaviour unacceptable to a paramedic a criminal offence? Who decides what is unacceptable and where is that defined in any law.? We disagree... A jury of his peers could not convict him. And you seem to feel you are on a better informed position.

The only other witness to it was her sister as far as I’m aware or did he apparently head butt her in front of the emergency services .Their could be a number of reasons why his behaviour was off including the fact he was being accused of something that was a accident. |
