Hi I'm a single guy with my own place and was just wondering how far people are prepared to travel to meet that person that would give them exactly what your seeking? Now I'm without transport due to a broken engine I fully understand what it's like not being able to travel so easily x |

I'd take a maximum of three buses, two trains and two flights.
But that's my limit.
If you've got the time and money to travel and you're 100% sure they are real then what have you got to lose? Maybe you could make a little day or weekend trip exploring a new place while you're at it? |

Firstly I would never travel to a guys house for a first meet. Did it once for a coffee and never will again.
The farthest I would travel is about 45 mins but I would expect him to travel as well and it would be a social as no matter how well you get on chatting here it doesn't always work the same when you meet.
In saying that for my Fwb I would travel a lot farther if I had to.  |

I’d go as far as probably Edinburgh or Glasgow in terms of north. But in terms of South I probably wouldn’t go further than Brighton/Kent/ Surrey. Any of those |

did you break the engine by traveling too much for elusive meets? its annoying to do a lot of traveling for nothing. most of us I think are willing to travel a reasonable distanced 50-100 miles for a good meet , I prefer to accom & am not far from railway& motorway |

With the cost of everything nowadays tho, if I were to meet again my limit would be however far I could get on a local saver bus pass. |

I have travelled as far as you can without going abroad.
I am down in Kent and travelled to Glasgow. Was someone I'd been talking to a lot and cammed with a lot so had a good feel for the person. Distance has never been an issue for me. |

I wouldn't go further than 2 hours away (and I would have to be confident that they were serious about a hookup). If it was somebody that I had a great connection with and we were really into eachother, I would travel anywhere tbh. |

I've become a lazy Londoner. Also I have fatigue. If I'm travelling for more than an hour, I better be getting on a plane. I live half way between Gatwick and Heathrow on purpose. Childhood Friend with Benefits lives in Barbados...so that's around 4000 miles once a year.....these days I tend to say in Wandsworth Borough/southwest London. |

The problem is there are so many fantasists and timewasters on here that people are reluctunt to travel far. I will travel but not far unless i get reasurance that you are actually going to turn up so a phone call etc before. Even then its a risk as so many just have no intention of meeting. Free timeis short and i have travelled before to be let down so im very cautious now and will accom mainly if possible. |

I live in Derbyshire, and have travelled to Glasgow, Plymouth, Cornwall, Suffolk and Northern Ireland before, although the N.I trip was also work related. |
