Are you a quiet quitter?

Another new buzz term!!!!

This explanation of this is quite simple. It’s when you don’t quit something altogether but you stop making more than the required energy to do the minimum amount.

Jobs, relationships/friendships, hobbies etc

Remember you heard it here first folks

(Or maybe somewhere else, who cares!!)

What you have quietly quit or do you go out with a bang?

Delightful Bliss

Yep 100%

It's like drinking the last of my drink even though I'm full.

I procrastinate over most things before I call it quits, draw it out until I make the final decision for closure. I guess I don't like endings until I feel ready for them

I definitely quiet quit my last job. Nearly a year of doing the bare minimum required to make it through the night. Finally quit properly last month and I feel a hell of a lot better for it.

I'm one, I think. Started a job 18 months ago, it was going well until people left and weren't replaced so everyone had to take on their work. Standards slip as there isnt enough hours in the day, management and owners get stressed, consequently turn into twats. For example making a fuss about me wearing a uniform gillet over a t-shirt when there is someone drinking daily on the job ~ which they know about!! Just got to find a new job before I hand my notice in. Very disappointing!

I think most people are like this. Have to be certain of the future before drawing a close on something

A bang management needs to hear why you are quitting so they can change.
