Mostly but if i get stuck behind a driver doing 40mph in a 60 limit i can get a tad wound up. Strangely, if i get stuck behind a tractor doing 25mph i'm ok with that. Life's so unfair. |

I’m a patient person, or at least I try to be. I struggle while at work or in traffic but all in all, I think I do fairly well.
I like this quote and have it hanging on my wall in my office:
Patience is the calm acceptance that things
can happen in a different order than the one you have in mind.

It depends on the situation. I'm work I have to be but it can be very stressful so sometimes when I leave after a tough shift my patience is gone.
I try to be in my life outside of work but like a lot of people it depends on my mood and the situation.

"a virtue. Is it? Are you a patient person?"
No. I’m very impatient? More of a now person. I really do live for them moment.
I look back through my life and see the dreams I had where they have crashed and burned because I was patient and didn’t seize those moments.

Me too. I think it comes from always living in a rural area. I have a greater appreciation for the work they do. |

With inanimate objects I am generally very patient though less so with things like working on a car that I hate doing. With people it is conditional on my assessment that they are v making an effort though I suspect this is true of everyone and I'm probably have a lower level than many for what constitutes enough effort and fairly tolerant of lapses.
I'll ask her ladyship what she thinks

I don't think it is being unfair. The tractor is going top speed so you accept it, the slow driver is being incompetent and displaying a lack of consideration for others so you don't. It's why I don't get pissed off by cyclists, they may only be doing 10mph but that's all they can do.

"I'm patient until someone is late for a meet then I be crawling the walls haha"
God I once knew a woman who would constantly turn up mega late for everything. She would always use the excuse "I was right where the universe needed me to be at that moment". Somehow that didn't make me feel any better. |

Very. To the point of being a bit too relaxed probably. I have a high tolerance level when it comes to people and I don't mind waiting for things to happen. I don't lose my temper easily so inanimate objects are fine.
I think the only time I'm not patient is if there's choice not to be, if there's something I want or need and can do something about then I will. |

I have the patience of a Wolf, hence I cover my face with a wolf GIF I don't seek immediate gratification, I enjoy the hunt (or in fab terms, the flirting, the seducing, the teasing, the sexual tension to rip watch others clothes off) |

What did her ladyship say? I'm patient to a certain point. I like to think. Like right now I'm patiently waiting for a promised letter. Patiently.
In work very much so up to a certain point. But I think because people tend to do things when I want them to/need them to be done by, I'm a bit spoilt. Professional and personal life. Sometimes I can wait years and years though. Guess it's situational. |

She said "when you're driving? Absolutely not" followed by "side from that you're Mr Calm and more patient than me"
I tried explaining that I am very patient when I'm driving, it's just that after somewhere over 1/2 a million miles my patience with imbeciles who can't drive has all been used up. For example, I have lost hours, probably days of my life sat in traffic on motorways caused entirely by the inability of some drivers to use a slip road. I think after losing all that time it is understandable that my patience has run out and when, yet again, I'm sat behind a driver pootling up a slip road at 35mph, I have a little private paddy and a 2 minute rant I am more than justified
