I prefer open because my feet are narrow so slip forward in them and my toes get squished when they're closed

For myself

For showing off open

For going out closed

Open I find the straps start to dig in to my feet and start to hurt

And before anyone says I need to get use to heels

I can walk in 9 inch heels so there is no getting use to them I am a pro at walking in heels
