So I realise I'm not old at 41 but I do love an afternoon nap, and I've become quite adept at catching 30mins here or there, I'd recommend to anyone to try it. It's important not to sleep too long as you get into sleep cycles and can wake up groggy but 20-30 minute power naps are brilliant....does anyone else enjoy them?

I always set an alarm so that I can't sleep too long I think that makes the difference

Oh yes! I’m with you brother! Have done this for years (probably since my 20s) I’m an early riser and a lark, not a big fan afternoon nonsense so try have half an hours nod and as you say, feel brand new afterwards but don’t exceed the 30 minute mark!

Gotta love a nap. Optimum length is around an hour, otherwise I wake up feeling wappy

If i nap for any amount of time in an afternoon, it buggers up how much sleep i get that night so sometimes I have to fight to stay awake

I would much rather have a good nights kip

Love a little snooze in the afternoon.

Sometimes call it an afternoony, or is that something else in the afternoon
