Unfortunately, the art of basic message writing and the use of officially recognised words within them has never been part of the syllabus here.  (Here's looking at the "use", "yous" and "faf" brigade). |

It was the other day on here that I also came across - or rather re-acquainted myself - with the "ick' word. But my use has been to describe something as "icky" when referring to, say, mucous etc.
