right there with ya babe, thought 2008 was bad, this one was no better, worse even. hoping next year will be the one when good things start to happen, could do with a bit of good luck at the moment.  |

Yeah had a whole load of bad stuff to deal with...health problems, operations, money shortage, friends diagnosed as being terminally ill..........but have also had the time of my life on here....made some wonderful friends, who will be in my life for a long, long time, some fantastic new experiences and some pretty amazing sex as well. I can't change the bad stuff...but I certainly intend to make the most of the good.  "
That has been my attitude for most of the year,Ive loved making new friends,we've struggled with me being a student,having hubby off sick for months,managed to get through every bit of crap and the tumble dryer has been the last straw...oh and a letter that came yesterday pissed me off too
The friends ill happily take into the next year but the crap can keep away for a few months at least xx |

I have to say I've had better years and after I was attacked and so ill, and my ex dumped me on valentines day, no one would blame me for saying its been my best year
BUT
I soon learned who my real friends were and got well as a result of their love and support and its thanks to them that I am even alive.
I cant tell you how many times I tried suicide but now I am much much better so from june onwards, I've had a wonderful year
Next year can only get better.
BTW Lots of hugs to those that also had a rough time of it xxx |

I wouldn't say I am happy 2009 is over had so much to do and never got round to doing it.
Been a quick year and can not beleive it is almost over. Had some fun along the way thins year and have meet some really nice people off here, so thank you to them, and to those still yet to meet off here, get a move on, not long to go befroe 2010 xx |

Well.............. sorry to hear that so many have had a bad year!
I wouldn't say it's been a great year, business has been really tough, son is continuing to be the biggest eejit who ever walked on 2 feet. But he did manage something special a couple of years ago and we have the best wee grandson there is!! lol
And then of course.............. I discovered Fab, and what can I say? Having led a fairly sheltered, almost boring life on the sexual front, since May I've been on a fairly steep learning curve and I wouldn't have missed these past few months for anything!! I haven't yet swung from a chandelier or dived off the top of the wardrobe but I've done a fair few things in between, indoors and out!!
So........... roll on 2010 and hopefully more of the same!! Having said that, 2009 isn't finished yet!! lol |

I'm with ya there, we've had some tough times, not personally my worst year but been tough, this forum at times (when I visit) has perked me up no end.

can you believe the decades went so fast can you remember what you were doing new year 2000
i can i was 5 months pregnant in my local vomitting not a great start |

2009 started well, ending worse, but i keep smiling. Still got hubby, which is a blessing. just hope we can do more things next year, if he read s this and just cause i told him twice i loved him does not mean i'll say it next year. LOL
