And whilst there a guy came up to me, asked "Anabelle?" Maybe I should have said no!
The look in my face must have said it all!
The strangest of conversations took place.
He told me I was gorgeous and when I asked him who he was he replied...."a man who'd like to meet you"
He didn't even know his fab name!
(There was nothing threatening in his demeanour)
That's the strangest thing that's happened to me today.

I've had absolutely no strange conversations today, going to make sure I get at least one tomorrow. Might even post a I'm popping to my local supermarket status update so I can get my neediness fix.  |

I went into shop and had a conversation with somebody who I’ve seen on here, she was very shocked I told her I’d love to meet her, she asked my fab name but I couldn’t remember it |

We had a guy approach us when we went to Ministry of Sound Butlins weekender and asked if we were on FAB. I was a bit taken back but we had put a meet up so maybe he’d seen that.
He was discreet and went on about his business when we said we were. Had it been near the end of the night, he might have got lucky…C liked him.
We also had a guy message us after leaving a hotel asking if we were just in the reception.
I found the message creepier to be honest as it was from a profile with no pics on. So felt like we were uneven in terms of he knew who we were but we didn’t have a clue!
I wouldn’t dream of approaching a single woman and saying something though as there’s a time and place.

I struck up a conversation with someone on here today and discovered we are quite literally a stone's throw away from eachother.

I had a very odd dream that I went to the butchers but they'd taken all the meat into the back room and were busy hanging out dresses. The two male butchers were also wearing dresses. And I just stood there and wondered where I was going to get beef for dinner that day.

I got recognised down the beach last year well sort off he said are you Shortishblonde I said no lol but he was polite and I did chat to him and admitted it was me. Never been recognised in a shop though whew!!! |

We've had this happen as a couple and it caught us by surprise and really pissed us both off.
Maybe if he recognised you a polite smile maybe a cheeky wink.

Messaged a guy he said he wasn't about pen pal stuff and to call so I txt hiyah it's me... he calls so I tell him I'm driving so I'd pull over he turns the video on I said w video it goes to speakerphone and I'm at the beach.
he proceeds to tell me how my priorities were messed up for being focused on image perception over him...and to keep it on speaker.. Then says I'm an ugly cunt I hang up he txts how it was rude of me to hang up on him instead of communicating..then says w me being over the hill I should be glad he was interested....

We were once having a drink in a beer garden and got a msg via fab from an older couple in the pub asking if they could come and say hello.
I quite liked that approach, but Alice said if it had been a single guy and she was on her own, she would have found it a bit creepy. I bet she still would have said yes though! |

It's awesome! I had someone go to the bother of sending me a tirade of pretty crappy messages tonight starting off from the point of 'I'm fat', and then working their little frenzied self through the spam of, 'women think they're summit on here', 'he's better than the 98% of losers on here (included me in that little gem of information), and then rounded it off with informing me that I should be extremely lucky he was messaging me as he has a house/car. And apparently its a massive red flag when women over 40 don't have kids? (I do have a child, didn't actually discuss this but seemed pretty irrelevant anyhoo)... So yep! Internet folks be mental sometimes. Go figure |

People can easily just sign up for a profile. Non members can't see pics.
If people have face pics or identifiable pics then it's not a surprise that people may approach them. I assume people with public face pics want to be recognised.
It might not even be the same man messaging, just someone thinking it would be funny to pretend it's him. |
