Inspired by a recent DM I got.

All trek is valid for this question

TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, DIS, PIC, LD, SNW.

Who is your favourite Star Trek character and why?

Which is your favourite episode of Star Trek and why?

TNG is obviously the best ...

The double episode where the Borg capture Picard was amazing..

And recently Picard had a main storyline regarding that

River was always my favourite, as I've gotten older it has to be Picard. Close choices were Data and Geordie, mainly because Geordie was always so happy when he answered his communicator.

I couldn't possibly choose my favourite as there are some awesome characters and story lines

I can however say my worst and that is Voyager as I cannot stand Jane Way's voice, it's like nails down a blackboard for me

I made it to episode four and gave up. First contact is an amazing film and probably second best to The wrath if Khan.

I didn't even post mine!

Sisko is my fav character, powerfully flawed, proud and wonderfully full of paradoxes.

My favorate episode has to be the Ep Called Far Beyond the Stars. It's a DS9 Ep, but it's a break from the full blown serialised story of DS9 including the one of the best scences that was shown on 90's TV.

We all know that the original Star Trek was just an excuse to do a western. That’s why there are so many shoot outs and fist fights in cowboy space saloons

It got boring and I stopped watching it as it wasn't like old Trek.

Khan (the original) was one of the best sci-fi villains ever and I have a soft spot for the crew of TOS.

Liking the crew of BNW as well and there's just something about Dr Chapel x

Liked the Star Trek undiscovered country

Didn’t expect to like the new Star Trek movies but did

Favoured character got to be Mr Spock

Liked ds9 as well is it just me or was 7/9 hot

All I will say now is

Live long and prosper

YES!!! Yes yes yes! I absolutely loved that episode! Glad im not the only one who recognises how good that episode is

Ive always enjoyed next generation, especially as it was the show my dad watched mostly when i was just a kid and seeing it on tv. Favourite characters have to be picard and data. Picard for how human he is, hes not some heroic captian that never makes mistakes or seemingly cheats death all the time. A very believable character with a lot of depth. And data is just wonderous and mysterious, how he tries to be more human like but also still being loyal to a fault and dutiful as you can expect from an android. Brent spiner definitely did an amazing job playing data

DS9 is my absolute favourite, but I like most of the series apart from Enterprise. Couldn't really get on with that. Garrick and Data are my fave characters, and my fave episodes are DS9 Past Tense and DS9 The Siege AR-558.

East Hull

Hard to choose a fav...

Quark from DS9, and his relationship with Odo

Worf, as he managed to cross over to different series and still fitted in, with good story lines

Trials and Tribble-ations , because of it incorporating TOS The trouble With Tribbles

Seven Of Nine & The Doctor singing 'You are my sunshine' is a great moment

Somewhere In The Ether…

TNG for me closely followed by DS9.

Favourite characters: Spock, Data and Worf.

Favourite episode for me was one from DS9 called, The Visitor which starred the always superb Tony Todd as a grown up Jake Sisko.

It was one of the saddest yet most beautiful things I’ve ever seen on TV.

If you’ve seen it, you’ll understand exactly why

Ds9 closely followed by TNG

O Brien come on he's Irish and said bollox on trek

The siege of AR 558 it showed a darker side to star trek and the inner light has to be one of the all time best star trek episodes.

I like all of the Star Trek shows, they each have their own charm. My favourite episodes though have been the "time travel" ones where they've taken a glimpse into the world of the older series'. Trials and Tribble-ations was certainly the best of them, and particularly the comments about how the Klingons have changed through time

I don't like particular characters in Star Trek, I prefer to take them as a whole package since each character brings something to the story, good or bad. The story line in Disco does get better in S4 even if it was a bit of a cop out at the end. I've just started to watch SNW.

Must admit I had a thing for Dianna growing up

Duet from DS9 it’s probably one of my favourites because I know why it was produced. They had no budget so they had to write a fantastic story and give the actors everything, so they did. Nana’s character growth in that episode alone was incredible.
