Hello everyone, this is my first post here having lurked, read and commented a few times in the past. I've been bricking it about actually writing a post as I've seen of the comments on the ruder end of the spectrum and it's put me off a bit. But here goes, be gentle

I am a single guy and whilst this site is great I do eventually hope to find myself in a relationship, when that happens I'd quite like it to be with someone with an interest in exploring the swinging swinging scene/community together. I am wondering if anyone met a partner with the express desire to share this world together. Was it something you bought up early doors? How do you even meet someone with those interests? I'm just nervous about bringing it up.

Clearly there will be some sarcasm in the responses and that is fine but if anyone has any advice I'd be eternally grateful. Happy to hear a woman's perspective too as I wonder if anyone here has ever had a new date bring it up and at what point.

Sorry I'm shite at this stuff

Plenty of people on here want similar.

I'd rather date someone off here than normal dating sites.

Also, I can't pull the hot guys in real life, so here is definitely best.

I doubt that very much but that's actually interesting. I've always got the impression that the R word is banned here .

Hello OP, welcome to the madhouse.

You could always put you're interested in a relationship in your profile, you're more likely to come across those who match your shared interest if you do so - I've seen several profiles with such a sentence on.

I think like in anywhere in the world, you can't actively look as such? You can date people on here, see what works for you. Who you're compatible with. But you can't plan a journey, those things naturally evolve. The likelihood is if you meet someone on here, you can openly discuss your desire to continue swinging in a relationship. Open honest communication always.

It can happen OP. I met my fiancé through here and though we no longer swing together (well he doesn't at all), people aren't opposed to finding more. You can fall for someone without planning it.

Thank you for that, really gives me hope that it can happen. I'm not desperate but do feel that jolt of envy when I see the happy couples on here enjoying this lifestyle.

I accidentally got into a relationship with my partner as we were both happily single and wanted to explore our sexuality.

We had so much fun we got the feels and it’s now been 5 years, we never have any luck on here though (lockdowns, last minute cancellations etc.)

Just try to have fun and go from there, good luck!
