No.............so it could be a treble (of sorts) based on 3 shots from 12 yards out.

Seems to be Madrids name on the trophy this year .. 3 incredible comebacks in the last 8, Quarters and Semi when they looked down and out in all three. But despite Liverpool fans being some of the biggest nauses out there, you’ve got to hope for an English win as a neutral, haven’t you, so come on you Reds! |

If Fabinho and Thiago start in tandem, the Reds' midfield will smother Madrid and their defence should crack. Can see the Reds then edging a close, high-scoring game.
If either of those 2 are missing, it is on an absolute knife-edge. |

I think it will go to pens… but it really depends on which Real Madrid decides to show up!
It could be 4-0 Liverpool at half time… but desperate Real Madrid when they play the 3 forwards is really scary |

No, he got it completely wrong ! It came to Benzema from an intentional Liverpool attempt to win the ball. Obvs no defender would deliberately play ball to an opponent. |

If it had been, for example, a back pass intended for Allison, but intercepted by an "offside" Benzema, then it would have been a goal, no offside because the ball was deliberately passed by a Liverpool player, albeit not intended for the Madrid player.
In the case of the disallowed goal, it randomly bounced off a knee. |

Liverpool set pieces have been utterly shite, for sure. |

"I'm a Liverpool fan, but that should have been a goal.
It wasn't intentionally played so can't be and they're the rules, are you a professional referee?
The retired referee interviewed on BT Sport explained exactly this, as to why it was ruled offside by VAR.
In the case of the disallowed goal, it randomly bounced off a knee."
Rubbish, you cannot be offside from the ball being played by the defending team. |

Courtois has played a blinder but the free kicks and corners have been terrible. Flat. Miles away from the players who might get a head on etc. |

From the Laws (read second last point about rebounding/deflected off an opponent)
Offside offence
A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched* by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play by:
interfering with play by playing or touching a ball passed or touched by a team-mate or
interfering with an opponent by:
preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision or
challenging an opponent for the ball or
clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent or
making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball
or
gaining an advantage by playing the ball or interfering with an opponent when it has:
rebounded or been deflected off the goalpost, crossbar or an opponent
been deliberately saved by any opponent |

"Seems to be Madrids name on the trophy this year .. 3 incredible comebacks in the last 8, Quarters and Semi when they looked down and out in all three. But despite Liverpool fans being some of the biggest nauses out there, you’ve got to hope for an English win as a neutral, haven’t you, so come on you Reds!
*cough* "
Well I might be *TOTALLY* fucking clueless when it comes to sex, but when it comes to football I know my onions

I've tried to stay silent so as not to jinx it but thank fuck Liverpool lost! They won the FA Cup and The League Cup but all this talk about the mentality monsters and the best club team ever and all that nonsense, to not win the 2 big prizes is brilliant!
Ultimately, Real deserved it. They had the harder run to the final, controlled the game defensively and got the decisive goal. |

They had a right old slog to the final. Well deserved for Real. |

I've got to disagree with them deserving winning that game based on the stats and Liverpool playing better than them. They won it only because of the saves and one good opportunity taken.
It's all good though as life stays the same either way

Stats don't always tell the story though, a few good saves were in there, but they also defended almost everything. Having more possession or corners doesn't necessarily equate to playing well |

That's football though. Madrid took their chance, Liverpool didn't take any of theirs. Madrid deserved to win. |

Oh come now, some Euros/World Cup group stage matches are like pulling nails out. Turkmenistan vs South Sudan on a wet Wednesday in Warsaw? No thanks (and I'm a massive footy fan!) |

Those laws refer to players in offside positions when a team mate receives ball ! Nothing to do with Benzema receiving ball from Liverpool player. |

^^^Read the 'OR' before the last two points. These bits refer to what happens if an opponent is the one who last touched the ball. |
