Today I bought a pot of fresh Basil. I watered it and the smell was wonderfully aromatic.

What other smells, food or non-food, make you think of home and homely things?

Freshly baked bread also evokes similar thoughts.

Clique bait!

The smell of baking makes me think of home. And there's nothing more homely than the smell of your children's hair. Reminds me of my tiny babies

The smell of a Sunday roast reminds me of going to my grandmas every Sunday for around 20 years.

Jasmine reminds me of a holiday in Tunisia. The whole complex smelled of it.
