Today I bought a pot of fresh Basil. I watered it and the smell was wonderfully aromatic.
What other smells, food or non-food, make you think of home and homely things?
Freshly baked bread also evokes similar thoughts. |

"Rosemary growing loads in my herb bed, smells divine.
I really like the smell of fruit cake baking or steaming Christmas pudding's reminds me of my childhood. "

Another favourite smell is Jasmine. Takes me back to a holiday. "
Jasmine reminds me of a holiday in Tunisia. The whole complex smelled of it. |

That’s right. Tunisia it was everywhere. The closest the uk has is when elderflower is blooming. Another favourite of mine. |
