I love listening to people and hearing their stories if they're happy to share them. I don't mind talking about myself if the conversation goes that way though

Crazy we are here all here living doing around about the same things yet all have different stories to tell

I've lived quite a good life so far done quite a bit so I've more than a few stories haha

It depends.

If the other party is dull as fuck and the most exciting story they have to tell is that one time they accidentally stumbled across a couple having sex in a field whilst participating in their bi-weekly joint ramblers association/methodist church walk through a field full of fresians....

Then I'll either think of an excuse and do a bunk or talk about us. Because we're probably a lot more entertaining.

If they have chat content on our level then it'll be 50/50

Both. Most people do both, even if they're unaware of it. Or they sometimes talk about themselves but if we're friends that happens and vice versa.

Other people's stories. I have had a fairly eventful life but I love getting to know what makes them the person they are.

People usually tell me I'm easy to open up to, so I have them spilling all their secrets unintentionally.

I’m a good listener but I remember things by relating what people are telling me to my own experiences so it might seem like I talk about myself. Usually 6 months down the line people are impressed with things I remember about them.
