I was scrolling through Netflix/Amazon the other night for a film to watch and bought Trading Places as I've not seen it for years and it's a great film.
While watching I was thinking you could never make something like this today with the N word being in there, black face on Dan Akroyd and many other things that would cause offence to various people or groups.
What other films from this era could you not make today for similar reasons? |

I recently watched an absolute classic from the seventies on Netflix: Three Days Of The Condor starring Robert Redford.
I love these conspiracy films from the era so can heartily also recommend, Capricorn One, The Parallax View and The Boys From Brazil if you enjoy similar |

"Can't quite remember what it was called, but the one where Kurt Russell keeps a memoryless Goldie hawn and gets her to do all his housework. "
Overboard - yes, it was somewhat morally ambiguous to put it mildly |

Foul Play....Dudly moore,Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase...still very funny
Love thy neighbour...one of the biggest shows on ITV in the 70's is still on YouTube....different standards completely if you watch it you'll be amazed |
