I give you the odd mosquito might sneak in inside the odd crate.

We also have the occasional gust of wind that takes down the odd fence panel.

Barmy Boris keeps to his own set of rules. But hardly a dictator...yet !

No, we have actual mosquitoes living and breeding in the UK.

Some, efficient and easy to operate top loading washing machines.

I don't need 78 different programmes, just a heat and length of washing cycle function.

"Earthquakes , ebola , mosquitoes , tornados. Civil wars .famine .loopy dictators....oh wait. We already don't have them. Maybe it's not too bad here after all."

Earthquakes have occurred in the North West due to the fracking that the government forced through against all local wishes. Only small scale tremors so far, but then only small scale exploratory fracking so far. Given that the tories are against renewables and all for digging out more fossil fuels (wonder what industries they have got money in, hmmm?) we can expect a definite growth in quakes.

Mosquitoes are all set to move in with climate change. Caused by keeping burning fossil fuels and not investing in renewables (see fracking above).

Ditto tornados (see fracking above).

Civil war, or at least unrest in the streets, is certain when the price increases for food and power really start to bite. There's nothing quite like hunger for giving people an incentive to fight.

Famine, see paragraph above.

Loopy dictators, well Johnson has already announced that he won't allow the disruption of a change of government while the war is going on in Ukraine. The war that could easily last for ten years or more...

What were you saying about how it's not too bad in the UK?

That was a hurricane.

If you take England as a country separate from the UK, it has the most tornados per unit of surface area according to the Guiness book of records. Being English they tend to be quiet and polite tornados for the most part, not big noisy brash monsters like they get in the US but still...
