Errrr not really. Except for yesterday! He waited for me at the bus stop, as I was at the wrong stop and the new stop was like 200yd away. Also he asked me which stop I wanted to get off at ! (The bus was pretty empty anyway)
Shit like this doesn’t happen in London so he was extremely kind and thanked him. |

Also, not really because there’s a entrance and exit on London buses! |

"Yes always even the really grumpy ones we get round here"
Me too, especially the grumpy ones as they don't expect it and makes them even grumpier. I do that with everyone in shops too when I pay for something and they don't bother to say thank you |

West Wales and Cardiff |
"People always say "thanks drive" in Cardiff, though the service has only-recently become particularly professional really, and the drivers (esp out of town ones) can occasionally be quite rude!"
Or very often “cheers, drive”
It’s a Bristol thing too, I believe. Maybe in other places.
Almost everyone says “drive” in Cardiff - feels weird not too.
I always thank the driver - if they are friendly and polite they deserve it; if they are not, perhaps it might convince them to be nicer .
What I find interesting in those cities is that very many young folks thank the driver, including ones who seem to have a bit of attitude |

"I say jizz but make it sound like cheers and then giggle because I just said jizz.
Bus wanker."
Never had a wank on a bus. Sometimes if it's a bit bumpy it feels quite nice but I've always managed to wait til I get home. |

"Yes I always thank the bus driver.

Of course you do, you wouldn't be Welsh if you didn't say "thanks drive" after any bus/taxi journey.
Mr"
It's the law in Wales to have to say "thanks drive" or you're rude as |

When I used to I always did and still would as being polite and manners can make anyones day as you just never know what difference a small gesture can do to someone’s day when who knows there day could be going a lot worse than yours xx |
