My partner snores and it is fucking horrible! I'm a light sleeper and even with earbuds in it keeps me awake. I've had nights where I've cried myself to sleep lmao. I sleep much better on my own and if could I'd have a spare bed in another room so I could escape on the unbearable nights. |

I used to snore until I had a Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (UPPP) surgery, it removes your uvula (the punchbag hanging at the back of your throat) and tonsils, a hot poker to various places on the roof of your mouth and throat to induce scarring so the skin is tighter and doesn't vibrate when breathing (the cause of the snoring), It's a simple surgery under a general anaesthetic with an overnight stay in hospital for recovery and is about 85% successful  |
