The crinkling of the packet I actually find more annoying than the crunching. |

I once watched and heard a dog fall out of a window going back about 16 years and I never want to hear that noise again as long as I live. I used to heard it in my head for years later and in my sleep. |

"I once watched and heard a dog fall out of a window going back about 16 years and I never want to hear that noise again as long as I live. Only to be hit by a second double decker bus.. That scream will haunt me forever

Waitrose. Forgives everything. No horses were harmed in this thread. |

It's not weird, it's a very old saying.
Children should be seen and not heard. |

"When my wife says “I was thinking….”
It’s always followed by something I need to do that usually costs a shitload of money."
After reading a few from above I don’t think mine is that bad. |

Absolutely, if the washing machine isn’t in the kitchen then they should be able to access that as well. |

I haven't experienced the sadness of some of those that have posted, and am dreading the time I do.
Up to date the one sound that made my heart drop was my ex wife saying "I've been thinking.." Every time it meant that I would be busy doing something I didn't want to or paying for something we didn't need. |

Grief and all the sounds associated with it.
Whether that be in person as someone passes, that last breathe, the sound of the monitor, the scream / sob that is like no other as the pain hits the living of losing someone and finally the silence which can be deafening. |

I didn't say it was right, I just said it's a very old saying / proverb to counterbalance you calling it weird.
I was stating it's a very old saying and not just a random thought he had. |
