Hello guys.

So I'm just interested to see what people's hobbies are.

my hobbies are probably not for most people im a caver, climber, abseiling, downhill bike riding and urban exploring.

Would anyone be interested in joining my activities or giving them a try ?.

It’s a little bit sad but I don’t really have any hobbies. I like going to the gym but that’s about it.

Crikey, bit of an adrenaline junky? I'm too much of a wuss for those kind of things.

As for me, I'm into squash, snooker, and photography whenever I get a chance.

Ableton mate, highly recommended! Over the last 10 years I used to use cubase, reaper, logic and reason but since last 4 years on Ableton I don't use anything else, it is superior in many ways. I love the work flow and its audio processing algorithims are next level

See I’m the opposite. I actually prefer the Studio One workflow. I had Cubase which I really liked but moved to Studio One when I updated my laptop and my old version of Logic Pro stopped working

I'm one of those saddos who love the outdoors, hiking, climbing, conquering the highest peaks in the UK. Dog walking, chilling with a drink, relaxing with a good historical book or biography. And then finishing with the all time hobby of swinging, xxxxx Suzi.... sad but that's my hobbies

Love this thread OP full of interesting hobbies.

I craft for a living... Sewing (turning my attentions to corsets and other stuff) crotchet and shabari

Petrol head mainly watching bikes

Although I secretly wish I was an international traveller hippy and adrenaline junkie but alas I'm a chicken

I have been chased by security before in 2 places haha, golden rule tho of urban exploring is take nothing and only leave foot prints, it gets alot of bad rep because you get teenagers smashing things up and breaking in so when people like myself who just want to explore and take photos plus film get seen as vandals but I never break anything or force my way in x

Ableton mate, highly recommended! Over the last 10 years I used to use cubase, reaper, logic and reason but since last 4 years on Ableton I don't use anything else, it is superior in many ways. I love the work flow and its audio processing algorithims are next level

Never got on with Ableton. In the process of building a studio around a new Mac/Logic/SSL/AU workflow. Grappling with the nuances of acoustic treatments too. (Mr)

What's "urban exploring", OP? Something tells me there's more to it than wandering round the streets of a city?

My hobbies are pretty basic: football, tennis, gym, food, dog walks.

If I lived somewhere it was possible to go all the time, skiing would be a hobby, but not sure a holiday a year counts!

Well my friend I shell explain its the art of exploring old and abandoned places could be a old house or a massive asylum or even underground waterways, it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's become a big thing in the last 10 years

Already have a collection of synths (mostly modern and some vintage analogies). So most of the gear will be “in the box” but adding physical channel faders, channel strips and 32 channels of I/O. Will utilise a combo of SSL and AU Plug ins. May eventually add some final stage analogue outboard gear for some added warmth. But that’ll come later for the mastering stage. Need to get the mix stage there first.
