I don't like his on court behaviour. It's unsportsmanlike. Just like McEnroe back in the day.
Misbehaves; causes drama; distracts his opponents. All to get himself fired up & play better.
Total prick |

Some of it is certainly tactical. But I also think he has a massive victim mentality. I used to know a guy a lot like him. In sport or any sort of competition, everything that went wrong was horribly unfair for some reason + the whole world was against him. Kygios feels like that to me. |

Well he needs to get it sorted.
Get a coach.
Get a sports psychologist.
I'm really angry that he had so much support from the crowd.
It's unacceptable behaviour. X |

He should consider that. The sad thing is he's clearly v talented. But he's his own worst enemy. |

Good luck to them with that. In my experience, it's impossible to convince somebody like him the problem lies with him. More likely, he'll be convinced it's the rest of the world that's at fault. Or that pigeon that looked at him funny. Or anything at all... |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
It's not like this is new behaviour, and as others said, it's just his personality.
Yesterday was more about Tsitsipas not handling it at all - 2 balls pinged into the crowd (both missed), at least 3 more aiming at Kyrgios (all missed - no wonder he lost).
He's on course to meet Nadal, where all his behaviour will be utterly ignored while Nadal dismantles his game. |

I liked Eubank, he never disrespected the officials, he was just a bit different in the way he acted compared to most boxers. |

No, it's his U.S.P.
Bums on seats, courting publicity. Just like McEnroe used to do! You can't flog a boring game can you?
Trash talking sports people. What a surprise....
When his veins pop out on his forehead - then I'll believe it!!!
Still it's a kinda rubber neckin' thing - you gotta watch no matter how ugly it is. |

He actually beat Nadal pretty convincingly in the past. On form, he can beat anybody. But he's just as likely to spend any given match ranting + raving at the whole world. |

I tend to agree with this. He obviously thrives on his rebellious, bad-boy self-image but it's a double-edged sword because he does self-destruct as well. I think the player on the other side of the net has to have the temperament not to let it get under their skin. |

He knows people are out to nail him especially the British press and he’s not giving two fucks good on him and as for the silly old farts running Wimbledon what a slap in the face for them next time he’s on doing an interview I hope he’s all decked out in red I seriously hope he wins Wimbledon the games got no characters he’s certainly pricking peoples interest in tennis at the moment even this place has got a post dedicated to him |

I think he is a very talented tennis player with some anger issues. I would quite like him to beat Nadal."
I agree he is talented tennis player , is same as Sinner , for moments i really though Novak was going to loose.
To me ithink is the thrill, see new faces that can come to the game and surprise everyone , independently their almost unnoticed reputation |

But that's just the point, Grumpy. Federer is no longer in his prime - Djokovic is.
He's beaten Federer way more times when they've met & he's equalled his Grand Slam Wins (even though hes not allowed to play in Aus or USA)
Come Sunday, he'll cement himself as the GOAT. |

Aye, he did. But did nothing much since. He lacks the discipline and, with his antics, he just wastes his talent.

Interesting to see the opposing opinions on both these players.
Certain people think novak is a cunt because his covid stance but still want him to win.
Yet think Kyrgios is arrogant cos he wore red hat and shoes to centre court.
Are these both not rules of a dictating society??
Yet we all pick and choose what we deem acceptable.
Come on novak. |

I'm no tennis expert but watching him over this tournament, while he is winning he is happy and seems content. As soon as he start's losing game's and set's, it's the same old, same old. Crowd, umpire, team, family. Everyone is to blame but not him or his tennis. My humble opinion. |
