Gentlemen of the Fab ecosystem, do you find shaving (face) a mundane chore or a blissfully ritualistic experience?
For me personally I quite enjoy the micro-pampering that my face gets. But I can imagine it can be quite a masculine nuisance for most other men. |

With a good blade it’s a good experience… but the best is the cut throat experience at my Turkish barber with the hot towels, shave, hot towel and stinging lemon cologne… come out feeling like a new man |

I hate doing it, it’s a chore, it’s not natural, it’s expensive, and it’s a waste of time. I use a bread trimmer and trim to number 4 about once a month (which is roughly how long it takes to be able to bite my own moustache) |

Enjoy it a lot more since I bought a quality double edge razor, proper soap and brush |

When I do shave I take my time. I have an old school safety razor to get nice and close and have a proper lather brush. Plenty of aftershave afterwards too, first impressions count so got to do it right and take my time. |

Its a real chore and no matter how fresh the blade is and how many different directions i shave in i still find a patch of stubble on the underside of my chin somewhere. |

I go to a barbers once a month to get my facial hair trimmed/shaped. The only reasons I have a beard is because I can’t be arsed with shaving, and it shapes my face better.

I like the crunch noise when a beard/stubble gets shaved. I do however, by and large prefer unshaved men. Regrowth is a prickly bastard if ever you get a good kissing. |

"Having said that, a proper hot towel and set fire to your ears Turkish shave is amazing "
Too afraid of getting your ears and nostril waxed? (I won’t do nostril - too painful) |

Have you thought about electrolysis? Inconceivable and Compersion have had it done on their chins. "

Sometimes it pays to be geographically challenged. |

Just make sure you never "young lady" me or I will "soz" you until you're apoplectic. |

It wasn’t something I took any pleasure in back when I did it, just part of my morning shower, I certainly don’t miss it. Now, two minutes or so with a beard trimmer about every ten days is plenty, then I just ignore it. |

I'll shave every few days. Something that needs to be done. Occasionally I'll let it grow and then trim all over for a few weeks but as we're getting to warmer months I like a clean shaven appearance for myself. |

I grow our a beard during the week then shave clean at the weekend. It's blissful to go back to smooth skin once a week. I can't go more than a week with stubble or short beard, it drives me mad. Hats off to the hipsters. |

I have a love hate relationship with my beard and also hate shaving. So these days it tends to be between stubble or a grade 2.
Saying that there is nothing better than a cut throat shave at the barbers. So a couple of times a year treat myself to one of those. |

I've tried them a few times, I get a tad nervous when I catch site of the blade. |

I hate it with a passion, regardless of whether it's an electric or blade it feels like I'm tearing my face but my wife hates heard so it's a small sacrifice. |

Similar to the above.
It’s all about keeping the lines nice and tidy so it’s more homeless chic and less homeless.
Warm towel on face before and plenty of moisturiser too is the main tip I give to people. |

Was in the military for 13 years and always saw it as a mundane chore.
Now that I have a beard I find using a cut throat for the edges etc completely different. Wish I’d used a cut throat much earlier in life |

I recommend my patent two razor at once technique....have one razor in the sink ..soaking...while you're using the other one..take one or two shaving strokes then put that razor in the sink ...pick up the pre soaked razor rinsing any residual foam or whiskers repeat a couple of shaving strokes before putting this razor in the sink ...swap the razors and repeat until you have a totally smooth face ..then rinse clean and dry both for next time

Not when they also do a neck "massage" that's actually a neck manipulation (2 totally different things) and you end up with nerve damage and not having the strength in your arm to lift a pint pot
.... And then needing an operation.
Yes I unfortunately know from personal experience |

Lorenzo, one of these days I'm going to use your sharp tongue to remove my chin fluff. |

I really enjoy the whole shaving experience, I use a brush with a shaving soap from a bowl and I spend probably 5 minutes lathering my beard up. Then a sharp blade, my hands aren’t steady enough for a cut throat!
Once a month I have a shave from my local Turkish barber and he spends about 10 minutes on the lathering part and the results are fantastic. |

Love shaving.
I've built up a nice collection of shaving soaps and aftershaves. Few different brushes, couple of double edge razors, endless blades.
Just a nice, quiet time when I can focus on one thing. |

I love shaving my cock balls and ass in the shower
Getting all soaped up then shaving I find to be highly erotic
I also like to be facially clean shaved |
