"Send in your samples. My mate didn't, he now has 3 Weans. "
PS I've had it as well. I had a general as I didn't want to watch someone slice mybnuts open. Make sure you keep the wounds clean. |

I knew a guy who had the snip, they messed up and he ended up losing his entire penis.
Just has a ballsac now, really weird to see.
Anyway, best of luck. |

Just listen to their advice.
Tight underwear for a week after and try to limit your movements. Stay off bikes!
It's pretty painless tbh, just feels achey after like you've been kicked in the balls.
Mosg of the horror stories I've heard are from the old scalpel method (which I believe is still common in America), but most are a non scalpel, keyhole like operation now.
Good luck with it |

most fundamental aspects |
So many focus on the perceived pain of the op. For myself the pain was minimal. I think I even freaked out the “surgeon” when he saw all my piercings down there. Unfortunately I got a haematoma in the days after which lasted months and was derided by my go as just scar tissue- in spite of the left testicle having also been cut and no pain.
The main thing to ask yourself, especially if you don’t have any children at all, is whether it’s really what you want right now.
Seems silly when someone has made their mind up but there is absolutely zero counselling for men before or after. Yes it can be reversed in the future but there are no guarantees. You may experience a sense of loss immediately afterwards, then again when the results come in
If you’re not completely 100% sure, you can postpone a vasectomy up to 3 times without having to go back into the queue. |

get somebody to take you home as driving is rather awkward, it's a little uncomfortable for the first few days, just be careful if you have 'crotch height' children who like to run at you for a hug, just like my youngest lad did as soon as i got home from having the procedure. Ouch! |

Haven't had one (lack the necessary parts) but I have worked in a clinic that does them. Mh tip would be don't ride a motorbike the next day . Or drive yourself home, especially if its two hours away . |

Yes. Follow all the advice doctors give you. Rest up for 2-3 days. Packs of frozen peas to help reduce swellings. Pain killers when needed. And rubber up still! Once you get handed the letter confirming no swimmers.... you're still firing live rounds! |

Had it done 25 years ago, local anaesthetic, chatting to the doctor as he worked while Caroline - 9 months pregnant at the time - watched with interest.
We tested it the following evening, it was all good. A bit sore for a couple of days but no problems. |

This all depends on where you go. We did counselling before and have specific questions we ask that often lead people to think about situations they hadn't previously considered. You can also postpone indefinitely where I worked if you stay in touch that you're at least still considering it. We take someone of the list to be contacted to offer new dates if we haven't made contact in 6 months but if they contact us we will book them in. If it's been too long they do tend to repeat the consultation though in case there's been significant changes to medical history but that's easily arranged. |

I'm going to give you the it went wrong story OP.
All started ok, left side was easy. Right side my tube was tucked right away and was struggling to get hold of it, so much so the anaesthetic started to wear off while routing around in my ball bag, that hurt, a lot.
Next day my ball bag was the size of a coconut and infected, 3-4 days for it to go down, felt like someone was kicking me in the balls permanently.
I'm sure you'll be fine though OP

"Booked to have snip end of Month. Any tips. Dos or donts. Should I take it easy or just crack on "
As said, wait until your samples are clear.
Also do your own manscaping beforehand. Easier to do in a nice warm shower or bath than having rhe nurse scrape at your balls with a disposable razor.
You may be uncomfortable for a few days afterwards. Mine looked like the last banana on Tesco shelf on a Sunday afternoon for about 4 days with the bruising. |

Closest I ever got to an MFFF, and simultaneously the least sexy I ever felt in my life. Why the post op nurse had to join the other nurse to assist putting my shrivelled penis and tender ballsack into my size-too-small briefs while the Dr watched, I’ll never… actually it’s obvious why, I bet they have bets on it all before and a good old giggle after…
It’s a nothing procedure after the first couple of hours tho, as long as you milk it for tea and sympathy.
The Exes dad asked where I’d had it done, and I pointed at my groin and casually said ‘down there’, which remains the best interaction with the out-laws ever… |

I’ve had it. The injection in your balls hurts the most …after that you can feel em tugging at stuff then the faint smell of something burning as they snip and cauterise.
Tight pants are your friend for a couple of days after
Worth it though |

Had it done, it failed. Waiting on another go round. Didn’t move for a week, the week after I was practicing marching and standing still for London in November with no issues. Make sure you buy underwater that support your balls and do t have a seam i between them. I had a Lycra pair that were a bit like a dancers belt. |

If you're not planning on having any more kids, do it - it's fantastic.
Mine took about 30 minutes at a GP surgery. Very small operation (they use a needle to make the hole and pull the tube out, then a tool to cut & cauterise)
Very little pain - I'd say "mild discomfort" - noting more than a bag of frozen peas and some ibuprofen needed.
It took a few months to get a clear sample - this is very important to make sure you do properly. Most vasectomies that "didn't work" are because people stopped using other contraception before getting the all clear. |

3 minutes a ball, easy. Prepare to feel a bit queasy when they are tugging at your tubes though, my stomach was doing cartwheels.
Cum within 24 hours of having it done. Youl know why I’ve recommended this if you forget.
Oh, and don’t worry about the bruising, it goes away after 2 weeks or so. It’s not sore and youl be fine, I had the snip in the am and was at work in the afternoon. |

Ex had it done, local anesthetic, end result was fantastic I have to say, being able to go at it raw anywhere anytime was amazing.
Anyway, the idiot went on the rip after, made some boys gasp at the urinals lol, now I don’t know 100% if it’s related but he wound up getting mrsa on his cock and hadda be hospitalised and have more owie things done to his bits and it took far far longer to heal.
Keep it clean and be careful, pints aren’t always worth it lol. |

"I’ve had it and it’s painless "
It wasn’t for me, uncomfortable not painless.
Also it appears I have a strong sperm count and with nowhere to go they collected in my testes, I started as a porn broker with a slightly worry ultrasound.
Things were okay, just sacks.
Might even be a double pawnbroker by now.
As the good lady doctor said, as she played with my testicular problem, “there is no problem with something that’s not attached.
Umm
