I have made a few and enjoyed making them. I have had some good feedback too, a lot of people liked them.
I have made some where the lighting was poor and the angles and framing was poor and those will probably never be edited into final movies and will end up getting deleted.

The first one I did was with my ex in 1991 using a VHS set up that I picked up cheap because it had become obsolete. You carted the VCR around with you, plugged the camera device in separately, and needed reflector flood lights if you were filming indoors, not to mention a tripod for filming yourselves. They are brilliant to look back on. nowadays I only take part in them if it's requested on meets.
